This lovely photo is of what is known as "soft paws." They're vinyl caps designed to be glued to your precious pet's nails! Quite an ingenious invention I'd say! Meant to protect all furniture from certain death by claw, and heroically save all of our children's eyeballs!
A strange creature. What is it you ask? Neither a monkey, ferret, or whatever the hell you thought it was! It's a Kinkajou. Native to South America, these little critters are also known as "Honey Bears." They are legal as pets in the United States and some day I will get one. They are priced at around $2500 dollars and live up to 25 years.
My new obsession. I don't know why but they just taste so good! (Especially dipped in tomato soup.) I'm curious as to how these are made. I've looked everywhere and sadly it remains a mystery. My theory was that they take potatoes and soak them with pickles. Ridiculous? I didn't think so. Share your thoughts!
